How To Get Fit At Home Without Equipment

"This is the BEST full body workout challenge"
There is more fear in the air right now than there has ever been, at least in many of our lifetimes. We’ve experienced wars, rebuilt from massive stock market falls, and even hit one of our lowest points in 2008 with the housing market crash, but nothing has been quite like this pandemic. 

The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) might not be seem considerably serious because of its symptoms not being as severe as some of the other viruses and illness we’ve experienced like Ebola, SARS or even rabies but the way this virus spreads, is like nothing we have ever encountered.

Making it extremely hard to contain, and to find a quick but effective antidote. The virus is known to spread when someone who has contracted the virus coughs or sneezes leaving mucus and saliva behind. Which can land on your body, or the things around you that you might touch, use, eat, etc.

So sister if you’re not already following the strict social distancing enforcement, I really recommend considering otherwise! 

…and if not for your own sake, do it for those around you who might have lower immunity levels than you think (like your siblings, children, or grandparents). 

That being said, because of this worldwide epidemic, so many of us are more in need now than ever before. With thousands upon thousands of people without jobs, laid off, or restricted from going to their workplaces, there is more fear and panic than ever.

I can just feel it. In the grocery store, at the gas station, on my coaching calls with new clients and even the typical free-spirited ladies I am currently working with… It’s everywhere around us and each day more of us are being affected.

With all of this chaos going on around me, I wondered if there was anything I could personally do…
See I am first to admit that when I get stressed out, and things get overwhelming - my self care practices are the first thing that I reconsider doing every singe time. 

How about you sister? 

“I don’t have time to do that right now”


“I’m not in the mood to do that right now”

“I don’t even know what I should be doing so I’d rather not do it”

“If I can’t do it at the perfect time, I can’t do it at all”

…any sound familiar?

But in reality keeping up with self-care and our wellness practices is crucial in getting through these crazy times and still feeling the best we can during the midst of it all.

Which is honestly what we all want right? Some peace of mind? That sounds pretty good right about now…

Through inspiration of many others giving back during this time, donating money, their personal help + resources, and supporting in any way possible to those in need, I wanted to find a way I could do the very same.

So when one of my girlfriends messaged me early one Thursday morning saying how bummed she was to find out her gym was closed for the foreseeable future, and that she had no idea what she was going to do to get her physical activity in… I knew just the thing. 

The last thing I, and so many other coaches who thrive off the results and success of their clients want to see is this chaos be what puts your health and fitness goals on hold.
