"Happiness is letting go of what you think your life is suppose to look like.”
Boy did that quote hit me hard the first time I heard it, and even again to this day as I reread it and type it out to share with you.
There are far too many times I catch myself feeling a sense of disappointment in how something went in my day-to-day or life in general.
…and those times, were some of my lowest times. Who knows how long I stayed there for.
What about for you?
Do you catch yourself setting unrealistic expectations? On yourself - or those around you?
You know the term ‘being happy’ gets mentioned a lot, whether it’s someone talking about their hopes in being, or another speaking out of anger on why they can’t seem to be…
But throughout my experience embarking on my own inner-happiness journey, I do believe there are a good handful of us that have seem to have figured it out.
Happiness, truly being - and overtime I have collected those traits they all seem to posses in hopes of being able to incorporate the same in my own lifestyle.
What I can honestly say is that it has worked. Through practicing these exercises, traits and expressing specific emotions - I not only feel a better sense of happiness, but have increased the flow in many of my daily experiences.
